nCounter Summer 2011 is well underway!

ONE OF the best events of the Christian calendar here in Leicestershire, nCounter Summer, is well underway for its tenth year.

Around seventy young people, from nine churches across our city and county, are today undertaking the first of three days of social action in two areas of Leicester: Woodstock and Netherhall.

They will be doing a number of things, including litter picking, gardening, running activities for children in local parks, and so on.

This follows two days of training on Monday and Tuesday (of which more in upcoming posts.)

The event runs until Friday. For updates please come back here, and read the Leicester Mercury each day this week for my articles on the event.
